Meet The Founder
Colin Rallison
Colin brings six years of wedding filmmaking experience to Ivory Tides. His passion for creating emotional and cinematic films has led him to capture love stories around the world, including most recently in Florence, Italy. Early in his career, Colin was awarded Utah state titles in inspirational videography and cinematic short films. His ability to diversify his filming style has also led him to work for major organizations such as Vivint, NRG Energy, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and many other businesses across the United States. His work has been shown in worldwide broadcasts, reaching millions of viewers across the globe.
When asked about Ivory Tides, Colin said, “It is an opportunity to utilize my talents, not only to bless others with amazing films that they will cherish, but to push myself and my creative limits beyond what I think I'm capable of,” he continued on to say “I’ve always felt a strong passion for filming weddings, there is something about the intimate details and emotion filled moments that allows for powerful storytelling. Looking back on the past 6 years in the industry, I’ve learned that we as humans aren’t going to remember every moment of our wedding day, but my goal is to craft films that help my couples remember the feelings. At the end of the day, that’s what really matters.”
Outside of filmmaking, Colin loves spending time with his wife of 2 years, Abbey and their dog. He also is a huge soccer fan and avid outdoorsman. He enjoys skiing and hiking whenever time permits. Colin’s outgoing personality and ability to easily relate to those around him allows each couple to feel comfortable and natural in front of the lens, ensuring many candid and special moments are captured seamlessly throughout the wedding day.
